This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Renovision collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

When you use the calculator and submit a project brief, we may collect:

• Your name and email address
• Your phone number (optional)
• Your postcode
• Project details — type, room size, quality level, location, selected works and your description
• Approximate budget, property type, preferred start date, and whether the property is occupied
• Your generated estimate and project brief PDF
• Your choices about Terms acceptance and tradesman-sharing consent, with timestamps

We also collect anonymous analytics (Google Analytics) about how the website is used.

2. Why we collect it

• To generate your renovation estimate and project brief
• To save your brief so it can be retrieved or sent to tradesmen if you choose
• To improve the website and understand how people use it
• To respond to questions you send us

3. How we use it

We use your data only for the purposes above. We do not sell your data. We will not use your information for marketing from third parties.

4. Sharing with tradesmen

Renovision will share your name, contact details, postcode, project brief, estimate and PDF with up to 3 matched local tradesmen only if you tick the sharing-consent checkbox when submitting your brief.

If you do not tick that box, your details are never shared with tradesmen. Your consent choice and the time you made it are stored alongside your record.

5. Where your data is stored

Submissions are stored securely with Supabase. The hosted PDF copy of your brief is stored in a private project storage bucket and accessed via a unique URL.

6. How long we keep it

We keep submissions for as long as is reasonably necessary to provide our service and respond to queries. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to withdraw consent for tradesman-sharing at any time.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected] from the email address you submitted, and we will action your request promptly.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. These cookies do not identify you personally.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
