Welcome to Renovision. These Terms & Conditions explain how Renovision works and what you agree to when using our website.

1. About Renovision

Renovision provides online renovation cost estimates and project brief tools for users in the UK. Renovision may also help users share their project details with a small number of matched local tradesmen if the user chooses this option.

Renovision is not a building contractor, architect, surveyor, engineer, project manager, financial adviser, or legal adviser.

2. Estimates are guidance only

Any estimate provided by Renovision is for general guidance only. Final renovation costs can change depending on site condition, access, materials, labour rates, structural issues, hidden defects, contractor availability, and the final specification agreed between the user and the tradesman.

Renovision does not guarantee that any contractor will quote within the estimate shown on the website.

3. Independent tradesmen

Any tradesman, builder, contractor, or company introduced through Renovision is an independent third party. Renovision does not employ, control, supervise, or manage tradesmen. Any contract for building work is made directly between the customer and the chosen tradesman. The customer is responsible for deciding whether to hire any tradesman.

4. Customer responsibility

Before hiring any tradesman, customers should carry out their own checks. This may include checking insurance, qualifications, reviews, references, previous work, written quotations, payment terms, timescales, and contract terms. Customers should not rely only on Renovision when choosing a tradesman.

5. No responsibility for building work

Renovision is not responsible for the quality, safety, timing, price, completion, legality, or outcome of any work carried out by a tradesman.

Renovision is not responsible for delays, damage, poor workmanship, unfinished work, payment disputes, contract disputes, missed appointments, or any disagreement between a customer and a tradesman.

6. Sharing project details

If a user chooses to share their project with matched tradesmen, Renovision may share the user’s name, contact details, postcode, project description, selected works, estimated budget, estimate range, and project brief PDF with up to 3 relevant tradesmen. Renovision will not intentionally share project details with tradesmen unless the user has selected the sharing option.

7. No guarantee of quotes

Renovision does not guarantee that tradesmen will respond, provide a quote, accept a job, or be available.

8. Tradesman vetting

Renovision may carry out basic checks before matching tradesmen, but this does not guarantee the quality, reliability, availability, qualifications, insurance, or suitability of any tradesman. Customers should carry out their own checks before agreeing to any work.

9. Removing leads or tradesmen

Renovision may, at its sole discretion, refuse, remove, or decline to share any lead or tradesman, including where details appear incomplete, abusive, fraudulent, or unsuitable.

10. Website availability

Renovision may update, change, pause, or remove parts of the website at any time. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

Renovision aims to provide useful information and lead-matching support, but we are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on estimated prices or by any work carried out by independent tradesmen. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.
